Small Business Photography for Beauty Brands
Every time a client’s box arrives at my door, I can’t help but want to jump straight into photoshoot mode; these goodies from Pure Sol, a NYC-based beauty brand, were no exception! I got a little carried away and ended up doing multiple sessions with their products… as you’ll see below. There were just so many pretty things to capture and the inspiration was flowing. That’s what I love about small business photography!

As a Scottsdale photographer who works almost entirely from home, I have the luxury of full control over my studio and my shoot schedule. Believe it or not, every photo in this gallery was captured inside of my 1,000 square foot apartment in Scottsdale, Arizona.
I’ve managed to turn this space into essentially a collapsible studio, from giant softbox lights and ceiling-height backdrops to tiny props and tabletop sets. And when I’m not shooting, it all gets broken down and tucked away in what I call my photo closet, an organized chaos of studio equipment and products from past small business photography sessions.
